Growing and growing...

I had one more picture of the room to put up that I forgot in the last post and the new pics of the baby belly. My oh my have I grown! For some reason I feel like this picture makes me look bigger but I guess I always feel like that pregnant or not! :0) It is shocking to me to see pictures of myself pregnant...very wierd! Once Stephanie gets back from PA and we get our rooms set up hopefully I will have some better pictures to show you. Hopefully some that include Jimmy too! ;0) He has been eluding the camera and the blog for a while, it is time he makes an appearance.

Baby's Room....painting is almost done!

Here are some pictures of the progress in the baby's room. This room started out many years ago as our roommate Derek's room, then became the "catch-all" room for everything that didn't have a place in our house and later combined to be the hunting room where Jimmy stored all of his extra mounts, guns and hunting stuff. It has gone through many stages in its' little life of being a room much like the stages Jimmy and I have gone through! First moving in, having fun and having a roommate and friends over all of the time. Then the stage of bringing home everything anybody was giving away thinking we would find a spot for it and absolutely needed it. Next was the hunting room stage where ourselves and our hobbies were our focus and very important in our lives......and finally now getting ready for baby with pink and white! The room and the baby represent a new stage in our life where we are starting our own little family and we can't wait!

All that we have left to do in the room is paint the paneling white (it comes with white primer) and put the outlet covers on, etc. You can see the blue tape on top of the chair rail showing that I had every intention of painting yesterday but got lost with a bunch of other stuff to do! We are getting new carpet pretty soon and then I can start putting things on the wall in the room and bringing in the furniture! Our dog Riley (Jimmy's little Princess) is obsessed with the baby's room. We can't figure out if it is because she is depressed that there is no longer hunting supplies in there or if she is excited for the baby (yeah right...she is going to have a hard time sharing Jimmy)! Either way, you can see her in some of the pictures...that is her new hangout spot.

Painting Party

We went shopping this weekend and bought all of the supplies for the baby room walls. We got pink paint and white paneling with a chair rail. Thanks to Jimmy's mom, Rebecca, we have the pretty pink paint already up! Now the big task of putting the paneling up. Once that is done I will definitely post some pictures.

I will also get a few updated belly pictures up here. I am sad to say it but the only one's we have taken are the one's posted on the blog and that is it! I can't believe it! It is flying by too fast I never think about taking pictures.

Hopefully before the end of this week you all will have some pictures to look at! :0)

Peanut Butter and Baby Kicks....

Jimmy finally felt the baby kick last night! Whoo hoo! I have been trying to catch him and her at the right time and it never happens but she was a wild woman last night while we were watching TV and she finally kicked her daddy! He was very excited.

Everything else has been going very good. I am possibly the sole person keeping JIF Peanut Butter in business. I seriously can't stop eating and most things I eat have peanut butter. I'm hungry all the time!

The baby bedding also came in the mail yesterday so I am VERY excited to start painting. I think that is going to be the weekend project. I'll post pictures of our progress (if we make any)!
