So, now whenever Jimmy does something that he is very proud of himself for, he says "You need to put that on the blog!" So, here are some things that need to "go on the blog." :0)
Sunday morning when I was having back pain and Jimmy thought labor must have been nearing....here is the list of things he did for "us":
-swept and vacuumed *he would oppose to those being on the same bullet point because clearly they are two separate, very important things!
-emptied the dishwasher and loaded it
-cleaned out and bleached the fridge
-all of the laundry and folded it
-cleaned the toilets
-organized the fridge and pantry
-cleaned the kitchen counters
I would say that somebody else besides mommy was nesting and mommy really appreciated it! I love my hubby!

My BIG FAT BABY Update!
Since I have not been on in a while and I just posted a billion pictures, now I will give a quick update of how things are going in the Messner Household.
My last dr.'s visit was last Tuesday. My doctor is not checking my cervix or anything until this coming Tuesday but she did feel the baby when she was measuring me, etc. and was shocked at how low she is. She said that I could possibly have the baby before my next visit but if not, we'll check my progress then. I cannot wait until Tuesday. I will definitely let everybody know if there is any progress in the arrival of Baby Messner (Ella Justine).
Jimmy is working extra hard trying to get things done before she arrives. He seems to be very on edge that it is going to happen at any minute. If I make one little noise about anything he freaks out. Just last night, the baby was moving and kicked me really hard so I let out a yelp and he about turned white as a ghost and freaked out thinking my water broke. I feel bad for him but it is kind of funny at the same time! he he...I'm evil I know.
The baby's room is coming along. I am going shopping in a bit to get some extra little things and we are anxiously awaiting the hutch for the dresser.
I have most of my hospital bag packed even though I have no idea what I will want or need. Any suggestions please feel free to post a comment and let me know!
I have one more week of work left as I took my due date week off. I am officially done working on Friday, November 6th and I will go back to work January 25th. I am so lucky to be home during the holiday season with our new little family! It will be so nice!
Well, that is all I can think of right now. I will find out more on Tuesday and let everybody know. Cross your fingers she will want to come out soon and be a healthy baby girl!

38 Weeks and GROWING!
36 Weeks and a WONDERFUL Baby Shower
I have the most amazing family and friends EVER! I was so happy to see everyone that made it to the shower. The ladies that hosted the shower: Sarah, Jaime, Alicia and Kelly; you are awesome! The shower was beautiful and had so many details throughout Jaime's house. She changed her living room decor and swapped out pictures in her picture frames to pics of Jimmy, me and the baby. She changed her candles to pink, I could go on and on. The games that Sarah came up with were so original and so fun. The cake was super yummy and beautiful too. All of the food was great and so pretty laid out with the pink, black and the damask pattern everywhere. It was awesome! Stephanie, again, thank you for taking all of the pictures. I am going to need to figure out a talent that you find useful to repay you because your photography talents have definitely come in handy! Thanks again everyone!
Votives made especially for the shower with damask and pink ribbon. Jaime's cute table with pink candles.
Sarah's beautiful cake creation complete with a crown.
Kelly's favor box creation. Thanks to Kelly , Jaime, Jessica and Sarah for their help with assembling these. They turned out so pretty!

Baby's Room
I don't take very good pictures and can't figure out the lighting but here is what I have so far. Stephanie is going to come by this week hopefully and take some better one's. Also, the hutch hasn't come in so the top of her dresser is housing everything that is going in the hutch. So, since it looks like a mess of course I can't show you all a picture of that! More pics of her room to come, especially when we get the hutch in. I can't wait!!!
The other side of her window. A student's mom made this tutu based off of pictures I gave her of the room and I received it from another student's mom. They are so amazing! She is making another one that is infant sized so we can take newborn pictures of her in it.

My mom got the baby her very first horse. It makes noises and the tail and nose move. I have her blanket on the horse also right now that Aunt Donna Lee made for the baby. It is beautiful and I can't wait to snuggle the baby up in it. I will post another pic of the blanket with the shower pics. Thanks Aunt Donna! I also put the crown that Sarah got for the cake on the horse. I am calling the horse Princess Nikka right now, we'll see what the baby thinks. Nikka after my horse and my horse acted like a queen (other people in my family might use another more inappropriate word to describe her but I will use queen) so the baby's Nikka can be a "princess."
